CFAO Kenya Limited Launches Kisumu Branch to Advance Agricultural Mechanization in Nyanza Region

Kisumu, Kenya – January 23, 2025: CFAO Kenya Limited, the authorized distributor of Case IH tractors and agricultural equipment, proudly launched its Kisumu branch today. This milestone reaffirms CFAO Kenya’s commitment to advancing agricultural mechanization and providing enhanced support to farmers in the Nyanza region through its comprehensive 3S services—Sales, Service, and Spare Parts.

The grand event, held at the Victoria Building in Kisumu, was graced by the Governor of Kisumu County, H.E. Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o, EGH, as the Guest of Honor. Also in attendance were key leaders, including Mr. Kenneth Onyango, CEC Member for Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock Development, and Irrigation; Ms. Farida Salim, CEC Member for Trade, Tourism, Industry, and Marketing; and distinguished leadership from Case IH and CFAO Group.

In his address, Amb. Dennis Awori, Country Delegate of CFAO Kenya Group, highlighted the organization’s longstanding history and unwavering commitment to agriculture in Kenya, particularly in the Nyanza region. “CFAO Kenya has been at the forefront of empowering farmers with cutting-edge agricultural solutions. Our partnership with CNH Industrial, a global leader in agricultural machinery, spans a decade. Together, we have ensured that farmers have access to the best equipment and robust support services,” Amb. Awori stated.

He further emphasized the group’s efforts to remove barriers that hinder farmers from accessing agricultural machinery. “Through our strategic collaborations with financial institutions, we are enabling farmers to acquire equipment affordably. Additionally, we are committed to offering aftermarket care through our quality parts and services to ensure farmers’ success.”

Hassib Thabet, Case IH Sales Director for the Middle East and Africa, commended the longstanding partnership between CFAO Kenya and CNH Industrial, emphasizing its success in delivering innovative, farmer-focused solutions in Kenya. “The launch of this new branch in Kisumu reflects our shared commitment to driving agricultural transformation and empowering farmers to achieve their potential. As we celebrate a decade of collaboration between CFAO Kenya and CNH Industrial, we remain dedicated to advancing mechanization, increasing farm productivity, and creating more job opportunities in the agricultural sector,” he stated.

The Governor, H.E. Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o, applauded CFAO Kenya for its strategic investment in Kisumu County, emphasizing its alignment with the county’s agricultural policies focused on promoting mechanization, increasing productivity, and enhancing farmers’ livelihoods. He further urged CFAO Kenya to maintain close ties with farmers by ensuring the consistent availability of spare parts and reliable service support. He noted that Kisumu County, as a key customer of CFAO Kenya, along with the farmers of the region, plays a vital role in the company’s success.

The event also included remarks from Hon. Kenneth Onyango, CEC Member for the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock Development, and Irrigation, who highlighted the pivotal role of agriculture in Kisumu County. Patrick Karanja, Director of CFAO Kenya, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to empowering farmers and fostering sustainable agricultural growth across Kenya. Attendees were also given a tour of the new branch, which showcased CFAO Kenya’s 3S services—Sales, Service, and Spare Parts—culminating in a networking sundowner cocktail.

Farmers and stakeholders in Kisumu County can now access world-class Case IH tractors, spare parts, and maintenance services at the Victoria Building. The branch launch coincides with the ongoing ‘Nikulima Na Kupanda’ campaign, offering attractive deals on tractors and spare parts.
