CFAO Kenya Advances Food Security Commitment with Strategic Agricultural Investment in Mombasa County

CFAO Kenya has commissioned a new Case IH agricultural machinery showroom in Mnazi Mmoja, Mombasa, County reinforcing the company’s long-term investment strategy in Kenya’s agricultural value chain. The facility forms part of CFAO Kenya’s broader commitment to strengthening national food security through enhanced mechanisation, productivity, and farmer support.

The launch brought together senior leadership from CNH Industrial, CFAO Kenya executives, and officials from the Mombasa County Government, underscoring the importance of public–private collaboration in driving sustainable agricultural development.

Commenting on the investment, Vincent DeLassange, Vice President for CNH Middle East and Africa, highlighted Kenya’s strategic role in the regional agricultural landscape and reaffirmed the Group’s focus on delivering scalable, technology driven solutions that support food system resilience.

“We are keen to build partnerships with Kenyan farmers and support the country’s agricultural transformation. We do this through world-class technology and continuous technical support,” said DeLassange.

CFAO Group Chairman and Country Delegate Ambassador Dennis Awori noted that the Mombasa showroom represents a deliberate investment in infrastructure designed to unlock farmer productivity and regional growth.

“CFAO Group’s investment in this world class facility demonstrates our long term commitment to supporting Kenya’s farmers with the technology and services they need to compete globally. We believe that agricultural mechanisation is fundamental to achieving food security, creating employment, and driving rural prosperity across this nation, “said Amb. Awori.

Mombasa County leadership, led by Deputy Governor H.E. Francis Thoya and Hon. Ibrahim Khamis Mutwafy, County Executive Committee Member for Blue Economy, Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperatives, welcomed the investment as a catalyst for productivity, job creation, and private-sector-led growth within the county.

The showroom offers a comprehensive Case IH tractor portfolio ranging from 55 to 700 horsepower, structured across five series to address the needs of smallholder, specialised, and large-scale commercial farming operations. This end-to-end offering positions Case IH as a strategic solutions partner within Kenya’s mechanisation ecosystem.

Complementing the tractor range is a full suite of agricultural implements, including ploughs, disc harrows, precision boom sprayers, and planters, all engineered for seamless integration and optimal field performance. The integrated offering supports efficiency gains across the farming cycle from land preparation, to planting and crop management.

Designed to perform reliably across Kenya’s diverse agro climatic zones, Case IH equipment has established a strong track record among local farmers. The Mombasa facility further enhances customer value by providing certified technical support, readily available spare parts, training resources, and aftersales services reducing downtime and supporting sustained productivity.

Through this strategic investment, CFAO Kenya continues to embed sustainability into its core business operations, positioning agricultural mechanisation as a key driver of food security, farmer resilience, and long-term economic development in Kenya and the wider East African region
